Iowa State guard Tamin Lipsey signs an Exhibit 10 deal with the Indiana Pacers, he tells Cyclone Fanatic.

The Ames native went undrafted in the 2026 NBA Draft but immediately finds a home with a few familiar faces, including NBA All-Star Tyrese Haliburton and Iowa native GM Chad Buchanan.

On an Exhibit 10 deal, Lipsey isn’t fully guaranteed throughout the 2026-27 season but he’ll have the opportunity to earn a Two-Way or full-time NBA contract with his performance at the 2026 Summer League. The Exhibit 10 deal also gives him a potential landing spot within the organization’s G-League team.

Just last year, Curtis Jones and Keshon Gilbert went from Exhibit 10 deals to two-way deals within their organizations. Jones signed his deal with the Denver Nuggets following the Summer League, Gilbert signed deals with Washington Wizards and Atlanta Hawks during the season.

Lipsey leaves Iowa State as the all-time steals leader, fourth in career assists and tied for second in career wins, among many other accolades.

The 2026 NBA Summer League starts in Las Vegas on July 9.
