It’s official: Iowa State will break ground on the much-debated Cy Town Development. When it was first announced, construction was to be completed by the 3rd quarter of 2027. That will not happen; more like 2028 or early 2029.
Cy Town is definitely polarizing among Cyclone fans, but in the fight to find new revenue, it’s a valuable piece of real estate that has the potential to be an influx of cash not only for the athletic department but for the school as well.
