The Major League Baseball Trade Deadline is 5 p.m. (CT) on Monday, August 3rd. That’s little time on whom the Minnesota Twins may be willing to part with, and whom their wanting to add down the playoff stretch run.

I firmly believe if GM Jeremy Zoll doesn’t cave in, utilizes the talent pool in the minors, as a few trade pieces, and a few currently on the 26-man roster, he’ll get major league capable players better than they currently have on the team.

However, in order for that to happen, acting team president and owner Tom Pohlad has to be willing to go all in and open the Twins’ wallet.

One definite player on the move is catcher Ryan Jeffers, and if the Twins play it right, they could get a haul in talent for Jeffers, whose on an expiring contract, and not likely to resign with the organization.

Other curent Twins I wouldn’t have a problem moving are RH starter Zebby Matthews, RH reliever Travis Adams, RH reliever Cole Sands, LH reliever Kody Funderburk, LH reliever Taylor Rogers, infielder Royce Lewis, outfielders’ Alan Roden and Austin Martin. I’ve put together a list of Twins minor league players below I would consider untouchable trade pieces.
