The Cy-Hawk football game has been extended through the 2031 season. Iowa State updates its future schedule by moving its 2027 game against Bowling Green to Ames. The 2028/29 home-and-home with Tulane will now take place in Week 0 in both seasons. The Hawkeyes meet the media at Big Ten Media Days while commissioner Petitti speaks bout the future of the CFP. Matt Campbell digs at Jamie Pollard for how fast he hired a new head coach the day he announced he was leaving.
