Could professional football come to Des Moines? It’s a long shot, but the UFL will relocate the Birmingham and Houston Franchises and looks to expand to 10 teams by 2028, 12 teams by 2030, and 16 teams by 2035. Iowa’s Capital city most likely isn’t in the running for one of the two most recent relocation efforts, but what about future expansion? Chuck Long, the former Iowa quarterback who also coached in the UFL, joins us at 7:30 to discuss the league and whether he thinks Des Moines would be a good fit for future expansion.
