Goetz has proved her worth since taking over the position full-time in January of 2024. She fired Fan McCaffrey and hired Ben McCollum, who took the Iowa basketball team to the Elite 8 in his first season. Goetz has also been a major fundraiser, generating a record $103.7 million for athletics. Goetz’s salary will be $1.4 million annually.
