Still no official answer on who Iowa’s starting quarterback will be on Saturday against Northern Illinois. The depth chart was released Monday, listing both quarterbacks and a simple “or” between them.
Kirk Ferentz will meet with the media on Tuesday and may shed more light on the race that is in the home stretch.
The quarterback will not be the only new face for the Hawkeyes in 2026. Iowa returns eight starters (five on offense and three on defense) for the
2026 season. The team has 31 letter winners returning.
