Week 3 gave us plenty to argue about, and it starts in Denver. Covino and Rich think the Rams got flat out robbed on that overturned Josh Wallace interception, and nobody in the room is buying the home cooking excuse. Before that, we had to talk about Justin Verlander getting walked off the field by his daughter, which might be the best goodbye baseball has ever seen.
The Vikings look like the real deal at 3-0. The Cowboys had first and goal with a minute left, down three, and still lost to the Ravens in regulation in Rio. Danny G is starting to believe in his Raiders before a 3-0 vs 3-0 showdown with the Chiefs, and Vegas has the line closer than any of us expected. Iowa Sam brings PJ Fleck smearing a player’s blood on his own face, and the MetLife porta-potties sliding across the parking lot during the Giants’ 12-7 win.
In the second hour, Rich has a real gripe with MLB putting Phillies vs Braves at 11 AM Pacific on a Tuesday. The Yankees can’t seem to agree on whether Aaron Judge is ready, and Aaron Boone isn’t saying. Plus LeBron in a Sixers jersey, the Alix Earle and Fernando Mendoza rumor, and a Last One Standing where a caller from Tallahassee finally beats Dan Beyer.
