The Rush Radio Show, powered by Willis Automotive, with Travis Justice and Ross Peterson, Friday, October 2, 2026.
A huge weekend of college football. The biggest game in the country might be in Iowa City as the 14th-ranked Hawkeyes host #5 Ohio State. ESPN’s College Gameday is in town to showcase the matchup. The last time the Buckeyes played at Kinnick Stadium, Iowa beat them 55-24. However, Iowa wins against Ohio State are few and far between. Since 1990, the Hawkeyes have just three wins against the Buckeyes.
Iowa State looks to get back on the winning track. The Cyclones are at home to play West Virginia. The Mountaineers are also coming off a loss. It’s homecoming for the Cyclones, who are looking to get better quarterback play and hope the defense can stop West Virginia’s high-powered running attack.
