Today’s word of the day is ‘breakthrough’ as in the Rays as in the Brewers the World Series is set. The Tampa Bay Rays got a huge win on Monday night with help from their stars Junior Caminero and Yandy Diaz, and a great start from ALCS MVP Freddy Peralta. What a moment for baseball fans. But before we move on let’s talk about Game 6. The get-in price for the World Series in Milwaukee is big money right now. The cheapest ticket you can get is close to $3K for just standing room only. Wow. NPPOD. Review: East of Eden. Aaron Boone is back with the Yankees. Duh. How do you feel about the Eagles handling of Jalen Hurts and his blood clots? How do you feel about the reporting around Jalen Hurts? As we know it now it’s such masterful mishandling of an injury as I’ve ever seen. Carlie Irsay-Gordon has made her first major move. She has fired GM Chris Ballard after 10 seasons. Never got the QB right. Never stood a chance. The NBA is back today! What are some storylines? What are people watching this year? Knicks repeat? Wemby gets his first? Thunder return to the top? Sixers with LeBron!? The Athletics have a new hire. A new GM is in town. Is he another data driven cost cutter? Looks like it!
